Set Up Your Max+ Gear
Before first use, charge your PRO+ battery completely using the included charger. A full charge gives you maximum runtime and helps condition the battery for a long service life.
Download the free AddHeat app to control your heated apparel from your phone. Get it on Google Play or the Apple App Store. You can also scan the QR code in your product packaging.
Turn on your gear, open the AddHeat app, and enable Bluetooth on your phone. Follow the in-app steps to pair. Keep your phone within 12 inches of the gear during pairing for the strongest connection.
Once paired, select your garment in the app and pick your heat level — high, medium, or low. Start on high to warm up fast, then step down to extend battery runtime. That's it; you're ready to go.
Care & Maintenance
Always remove the battery and disconnect the controller before cleaning. Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent, or use a gentle machine cycle inside a mesh laundry bag. Never wring, bleach, dry clean, or tumble dry — hang to air dry flat. Make sure the garment is completely dry before reconnecting power.
Use only the included charger. Charge fully before first use and recharge after each use. If you won't use the gear for a while, store the battery at about half charge and top it up every few months to preserve its health.
Store your apparel and battery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid leaving the battery fully drained for long periods, which can shorten its lifespan.
Wear your heated layer close to the body with an insulating or windproof layer over the top to trap warmth. Begin on high to heat up quickly, then drop to medium or low once comfortable — lower settings dramatically extend runtime.

Yes. Pair all your gear with the app, then select whichever item you want to adjust to change its heat settings independently.
Make sure your phone's Bluetooth is on before pairing, and hold your phone within 12 inches of the gear during setup. Toggling Bluetooth off and back on resolves most connection issues. If it still won't pair, restart the app and try again.
Runtime depends on your heat setting and the specific product. Lower heat settings last considerably longer than high. For exact runtime, check your product's specifications on its product page.
Confirm the battery is charged and switched on, check that the controller is powered, and inspect all connectors for a secure fit. If the problem continues, contact our team or review your warranty options.
