What’s the difference between the GT40 and GT1650?
The heat panels on the GT40 are larger which is why it is 7 AMPs compared to the GT1650 3.5Amp.
Does the wireless remote work for all your gear?
No, the wireless remote works only on jacket liners. It comes standard with the GT40 (12V Heated Jacket Liner Deluxe 7 AMP) and is optional on the GT1650 (12V Heated Jacket Liner 3.5 AMP).
Will this work with my BMW’s CAN bus system?
Yes, but only on the newer BMW Motorcycles. Due to limitations on the vehicle's power output, your bike might shut off feed to the BMW accessory plug. Please contact your dealer or refer to your manual to ensure that it offers sufficient power. We recommend only using the BMW accessory plug for gloves or socks. Our best recommendation is to connect directly to the battery with the included battery harness.
How do I connect socks and gloves to my motorcycle clothing?
You can connect with the glove/sock harness provided or if you have a jacket line or pant liner, they come with built-in wires connectors that come out of a zippered pouch at the ends.
How do I plug my more than one item?
For most motorcycle products, you can connect each item to the battery via battery harness that is provided. If connecting more than one item, you need a Y-Splitter (ZMCV103). The Y-splitter lets you connect more than one item to the battery harness. If you have only gloves or socks you can connect with the glove/sock harness provided direct to the battery harness.
How do I pair my Jacket Liner to the wireless remote?
- While connected to the battery, press and hold the liners power button for 3 seconds until it powers on.
- Next, press and hold the power button on the wireless remote until the light flashes Red-Yellow-Green.
- Your remote is now synced.
