Heated Glove Liners vs. Heated Gloves – What’s the Difference?

Our customer service reps are asked this a lot. Why buy glove liners when you can skip straight to heated gloves? Glove liners are great if you already have a glove you like or you use a work glove currently. We all know what it is like to find a piece of clothing we love and regardless of how worn in it is, we can’t seem to get rid of it. When you want to use your favorite gloves, but need a little added heat, liners are the perfect thing.

So what about gloves? Heated gloves are the perfect accessory for any skier or biker or anyone that simply lives in cold weather. We’ve had everyone order our heated gloves from those who suffer from Reynaud’s to those who work construction in cold weather. We get people getting ready for snowboard and skiing trips, and even those who just like to keep their hands warm while walking through a snowy NYC.

If you’re not sure what you need, you can feel free to call our customer service office at 310-412-1070. In the meantime, feel free to check out our more popular gloves and glove liners.

At-Home Heat Therapy Wraps v. Portable Heat Therapy Wrap

We get a lot of customers asking what the difference is between our At-Home Heat Therapy Wraps and the Portable Heat Therapy Wraps. The simple answer is that the portable wraps use our signature Lithium Ion batteries to power the heating elements, allowing Far Infrared Rays to penetrate the targeted spot.

The At-Home version works in the very same way, but instead of batteries, it receives energy from the outlet at your wall. Same as your lamp! Some people think that this means that it may have a stronger output, but rest assured, that regardless of the energy system, battery or outlet, you’ll receive the same energy output and treatment.

So which one should you choose? Well, that choice is entirely up to you, but in any case, you can rest assured knowing that you’re receiving the best FIR therapy money can buy.

How Do We Heat Our Products?

We live in a time where technology is improving each day, which is good, but it also makes your brand new, super expensive phones and computers outdated very fast. The good news, is that when good technology is developed, not only can you get great products, but they don’t become outdated because they still work and perform well.

That’s exactly the story behind Venture Heat. When the heated clothing industry started, bulky wires and heavy cages were the only technology available it wasn’t cheap in any sense of the word. When Venture came around, we changed all of that. Our engineers developed never before seen hair-thin carbon fiber heating elements. You literally cannot tell whether or not they are in the fabric. Discreet and slim, you’re able to order a form-fitting jacket, like the City Collection line, without sacrificing style or comfort.

Our own Lithium Ion Batteries are made specifically for our products, which means don’t try to plug anything else in! It may look like it fits, but it won’t and it may actually cause items to break. We’re the leading manufacturer of heating clothing. Know why? Because we’re the best at what we do.

Ride in Style with a Women’s Heated Motorcycle Vest

Why sacrifice style just because you’re trying to stay warm on your motorcycle?  A lot of women are forced to put up with ill-fitting clothes, just to make sure they can feel their body for the duration of the ride. Now you can stay warm, while still looking your very best. Our 12V Heated Women’s Vest has heating panels in the front and back, sure to keep you cozy even during your longest rides.

What makes this vest better than others? Well first of all, you can hook it up directly to your battery with the included battery harness, and even connect it to multiple pieces of our heated clothing. Still not enough? Okay…

How about the fact that this vest has a fleece-lined collar and moisture wicking fabric to make sure you are completely weatherproofed? Zipper yourself up, turn on the heater and go for a ride. C’mon, you’re going to be going headstrong against the wind, make sure you have the right kind of armor for that battle.

2013 Kinsey Dealer Show

We are excited to be participating in the 2013 Kinsey Dealer Show right now.  VentureHeat is here this weekend showing off some of our latest products and advancements in our heated gear technology.  Alongside over 200 other manufacturers in the archery and hunting accessories industry, we are thrilled to be a part of this show to present our heated jackets, gloves, and vests to archery and hunting enthusiasts.

While only midway through the morning, we have already received a ton of positive feedback from the archery community as many have found that by using our heated jackets or vests, they would not have to layer on bigger, bulky jackets to stay warm which can get in the way when you are using a bow.  Our heated soft shell jackets have heating elements placed throughout your core and allow you to adjust the temperature to your comfort level.  So instead of packing on the layers in the morning, only to shed them by the afternoon, you can instead just wear one of our heated jackets and change the temperature as needed throughout the day.

Trade Show BoothIf you happen to be in the Hershey, PA area come check us out at the Convention Center and try out our electric heated gear firsthand. Or meet up with us next weekend in Lynnwood, WA at the Euro Moto Show where we will have some of our heated motorcycle gear on display.  See ya there!
