Heated Apparel for Women

Heated Apparel for Women
Style meets comfort and warmth like never before.

Finding cold weather clothing for women that fits well, keeps you warm, and meets your style preferences is not always easy to come by.  One of the major downfalls that typically comes with the territory for dressing for the cold is the bulk and weight that conventional winter jackets carry.  Many women would rather opt for a slimmer and sleeker look than the poof of puffy insulated jackets.

That being said, the obvious problem of selecting a lighter jacket with a form-fitting cut lacks the capability of providing enough protection against chilly winds and cold temperatures.  This long running dilemma over whether to dress for style or for functionality has vexed women for years.

VentureHeat feels that they have put an end to this great debate by offering lightweight jackets and vests that are styled and tailored specifically for the female form and have added ultra thin heating elements for long-lasting warmth.

From soft shell heated jackets, heated fleece jackets and vests, and heated quilted nylon vests, VentureHeat offers an entire line of heated apparel just for women. The flattering designs combined with the active heating panels found in VentureHeat’s outerwear answers the plea for help from women everywhere who have had to make sacrifices either one way or the other in terms of style and comfort.

The heated apparel uses Xtreme Comfort Technology which uses hair-thin micro fibers that are integrated into the heating panels found strategically placed throughout the garments.  The heating panels are both pliable and flexible, allowing them to move freely with your body.  Unlike some of the competitor brands in heated gear that use resistor cables and coils, VentureHeat’s heated clothing is both cable-free and coil-free.  This innovation in heated gear technology eliminates hot spots and removes the stiff, uncomfortable feeling that cables running along your body induce.

Rechargeable lithium-ion batteries power the relaxing heat for up to 5 hours on a single charge depending on which settings you choose. After a day’s worth of heated comfort, simply plug the batteries into the wall with the included charger, and you will be all set for another session of blissful warmth.  A temperature controller gives you the ability to adjust the heat to your exact liking to keep your body at a comfortable level with just the click of a button.

Besides heated jackets and heated vests, VentureHeat also carries both heated gloves for ladies as well as heated glove liners. These are a great option for any woman looking for a boost of warmth in her fingers when the temperature drops.
The heated gloves for women are styled after traditional winter gloves with a waterproof and wind-resistant exterior and leather palm to protect you from the elements.  The ivory, black, and gray color combination of the Women’s Classy Winter Heated Gloves are sure to complement any outfit.

If you would prefer to amp up an existing jacket that you already own, then take a look at what the Heated Base Layer for Women has to offer.  Made from a stretchable poly-spandex blend, it is thin enough to be worn underneath your clothing without giving any indication that you have it on.  The form-fitting design is intended to fit snugly to the body for efficient heating and drying times. Learn more about all of the great features that the Heated Base Layer has to offer.

Heated apparel allows you to be more active during the winter by letting you dress for both style and comfort instead of forcing you into conforming with traditional bulky outerwear.  Check out VentureHeat’s line of heated apparel for women to find the style right for you!

Which Heat Therapy Products are Right For Me?

Which Heat Therapy Products are Right For Me?
Infrared Ray Heat Therapy is commonly used for pain management when it comes to chronic aches and pains.

The advantages for Far Infrared Ray (FIR) Heat Therapy are many such as having the ability to penetrate up to 3 inches below the skin causing capillaries to dilate which improves blood flow to the area.  This increase in blood flow helps your body to resupply the vital nutrients and oxygen it needs to recuperate.  Far Infrared Rays are also able to aid the body in getting rid of harmful toxins and metabolic wastes. Learn more about FIR heat therapy.

Because of all the positive attributes associated with FIR heat therapy, it is certainly a top contender for being the best choice in heat therapy.  Physical therapists and chiropractors choose FIR lamps to treat patients suffering from chronic pains.  The same technology they are using is now available for home and portable use with wraps designed specifically for the ailing area.

VentureHeat has two different lines of FIR heat therapy wraps.  Depending on your lifestyle and preferences in using heat therapy wraps, you have the option of either the At-Home Plug-in series or the Rechargeable Battery wraps.  Both systems use FIR heat therapy and are able to heat to the same temperature levels through the included temperature controllers.

With the At-Home Plug-in line of heat therapy wraps, you are able to plug the wrap into the wall using the 6 foot cord and receive soothing heat for as long as you need. After a 30 minute session, a built-in timer will automatically shut the wrap off as many physical therapists and chiropractors recommend half hour increments of heat therapy treatment.  If you would like to extend the heat beyond the 30 minutes, simply turn the wrap back on using the hand held controller for another session.

The controller also allows you to adjust the heat to four different settings depending on your own personal preference.  Simply click through the levels shown by LED indicator lights displayed on the controller to dial in the heat for greatest comfort.

The benefit of using an At-Home Plug-in heat therapy wrap is that you will never have to worry about charging batteries or running out of power.  As long as you are near an outlet, you can experience heated pain relief whenever you feel the need.  These wraps are great if you primarily use heat therapy when watching T.V., reading a book, or sitting at the computer. They are perfect for home and office use when you are near an outlet.

Rechargeable Battery wraps, on the other hand, give you the freedom to take FIR heat therapy wherever you go.  Powered by long-lasting lithium-ion rechargeable batteries, you will have heat for 2 – 5 hours depending on the settings you choose.

The built-in temperature controller lets you adjust the heat to 4 separate levels with just the click of a button. To recharge the battery, simply plug the charger into the wall for 4 to 6 hours and you will be ready for another round of heated comfort.

Like the At-Home Plug-in wraps, the Rechargeable Battery wraps also have an automatic shut-off feature that kicks in after 30 minutes of continuous use.  If extended time is desired, just power back on the power pack for another session.  The Rechargeable Battery wraps are a great choice if you would prefer to use your heat therapy wraps while in the car, out and about, or working around the house.  Having the freedom to move freely and not being tethered to a wall outlet make the Rechargeable Battery wraps a great choice for those with an active lifestyle and enjoy the portability factor that these wraps allow for.

Both the At-Home Plug-in wraps and the Rechargeable Battery wraps are constructed with a flexible neoprene rubber that stretches and moves with the body. The Velcro straps let you adjust the wrap to fit your body snugly, enabling a better fit and performance.  The wraps are lined with fleece to give you greater comfort on the surface of your skin.

Because the wraps are tailored to fit specific areas on your body, you will never have to bother with wraps sliding out of place or worry about trying to balance them on your body.  VentureHeat’s wraps use targeted heating elements to maximize their effectiveness and to deliver heat exactly where you need it.

Another great feature about these wraps is that they can be used on both sides of the body.  For instance, VentureHeat’s Heat Therapy Shoulder Wrap can be used on both the right and left shoulders.  The same is true for the Knee, Wrist, Elbow, and Ankle Wraps.  Other brands are designed for only side of the body, forcing you to buy multiple wraps if you need relief on both sides.  VentureHeat realizes that your pain may not be contained to only one side and gives you the option to wear the wraps on either side.

If you are looking for relief from your pains, it is time to give VentureHeat a try with either the At-Home Plug-in Wraps or one of the Rechargeable Battery Heat Therapy Wraps. Look to VentureHeat today for a pain-free tomorrow.

Understanding the differences in common heat therapy products

Chronic aches and pains are stubborn and long-lasting.  They deplete your abilities to move and live freely.  The constant pangs are a reminder of your body’s physical limitations that prevent you from leading a comfortable life.

Being trapped by your own body certainly isn’t a fair situation, but what options are available to you?  Perhaps surgery could help to repair some of the damages, yet the risks involved with surgery, along with the high costs, often surpass the benefits.  Prescription medication is another method in relaxing the pains, but the side effects that come along with medication are often disheartening.  A safer, more consistent manner in dealing with pain management is with the use of heat therapy.

Heat therapy has been proven to be the most effective way of soothing muscle spasms and is recommended by medical professionals.  Heat therapy comes in many forms, though some more beneficial than others.

A traditional method of using heated stones placed upon the ailing area lacks the ability for portability, temperature control, or extended use making this an inadequate method for pain relief.

Electric blankets often emit dangerous EMFs, overheat, and do not fit the contour of the body.

Microwaveable products are difficult to control the temperature as they heat up too hot then lose warmth quickly forcing you to return to the microwave frequently.

Chemical activated hot packs that use oxidized heat can not only get costly for long-term use, but are environmentally damaging as they are one time use and lack the ability to control the temperature.

Also, none of these options emit any significant amount of deep penetrating infrared rays which have been shown to be an effective way to strengthen the immune system and improve blood flow.  This eases muscles spasms and rehabilitates movement impairment, relieves the sensation of pain, and promotes tissue repair.

Infrared ray lamps are often found in physical therapists offices because of their positive wellness attributes.

Now, you can take this doctor recommended treatment home, for individual therapy and comfort.  Far infrared ray heat therapy wraps are convenient, affordable, and long-lasting.  With the active heat on demand feature, you are able to control the temperature to your exact needs while the contoured fit is designed specifically for the ailing body part.  Far infrared ray heat therapy wraps use safe and comfortable technology that provides relief from chronic aches and pains.

If you take your comfort seriously then don’t be fooled by other heat therapy products and try infrared ray heat therapy today for a pain free tomorrow.

Tips for Heated Apparel

Help your heated gear to last long into the future.

Heated apparel is more than just a novelty or gimmick.  It’s a method of dressing smarter for cold weather to effectively keep your body properly heated.  Here are a few tips to make the most out of your heated clothing.

Fully Charge the Batteries

The 7.4 Volt lithium ion batteries that come standard with all of VentureHeat’s heated winter outerwear will perform optimally after first being fully charged.  To do this, simply plug the battery pack into the included wall charger.  When first plugged in, you will notice a red indicator light on the charger which means that the batteries are receiving power, and charging up.  After 4-6 hours of charging, the indicator light on the wall charger will turn from red to green.  Once the charger shows a steady green light, the batteries have been fully charged and are ready for use.  To get the most out of your heated gear, it is recommended to charge up your batteries  before each use.

Store When Not In Use

During the warmer months when you are not using your heated gear regularly, store your clothing in a cool, dry place. Prior to storage, fully charge the batteries.  If you are storing the heated gear for extended periods, it is recommended to charge up the batteries every 3 months to ensure that they will be ready to go when you pull them out of the closet the next time.

Wash with Care

To protect the longevity of the heating panels, spot cleaning is recommended.  Hang dry and do not iron. Bleach and other cleaning solvents should not be used.  Also, to take care of the heating elements, do not twist or wring your heated gear.  Following these instructions will keep your heated gear lasting for years to come.

How Does 12V Heated Gear Work?

From installation to using your 12V heated gear.

VentureHeat offers a full line of heated motorcycle gear that is powered by the existing 12V battery found on a motorcycle or snowmobile.

For an example, let’s refer to the 12V Heated Jacket Liner. The 12V Heated Jacket Liner comes with a battery harness, a built in fuse, and temperature controller.

VentureHeat features a revolutionary micro-alloy heating fibers that do away with cables and coils running through the jacket.  The heating panels are pliable and flexible, allowing them to fit naturally inside of the liner without you even noticing them.

The heating elements are carefully positioned on the front, back, collar and sleeves of the jacket liner to speed up the body’s circulation and spread heat throughout your entire body.  The durable wind-resistant nylon fabric will protect you from the elements while the fleece collar helps to trap and keep heat on your body.

Installing the Battery Harness

Before you use the clothing, you must first connect the battery harness to the battery making sure that the power has been turned off.  Access the vehicle’s 12V battery by following the instructions in the vehicle’s owners manual.

Connect the battery harness to the terminals of the battery by removing the attachment screws then connecting  the red ring of the battery harness to the positive terminal and black ring to the negative terminal.   An SAE adapter can also be purchased to use with an existing battery tender.

Tuck the remaining wires under the seat and run the plug out to the left side making sure that at least a couple of inches from the plug to extend from the body of the vehicle.  The location and manner in which this is done will vary depending on the configuration of the vehicle and can also be attached to the frame using cable ties or electrical tape to secure the wire.  Return any vehicle body panels or equipment to their original location.

Using the Heated Jacket Liner

Once you have completed installing the battery harness, locate the input plug found inside of the jacket on the left side in the lower pocket.  Remove the plug from the jacket and connect the coax cable to the battery harness attached to the vehicle.

To use the included temperature controller to regulate the heat levels, connect the controller to the plugs found inside of the left side of the jacket.

To turn on the power, press and hold the power button for two seconds.  When first turned on, the controller will start on the maximum heat setting and will display a blue light.  To adjust the temperature, click the power button once to change the setting to the high setting with a red light. Click the button again to adjust the heat to a medium temperature with a yellow light and click the button again to change the heat to the low setting with a green light.  To turn the power off, press and hold the power button for two seconds until the lights on the controller turn off.

The controller can be tucked away inside the liner of the jacket, or attached to the vehicle itself depending on your preferences.

Additional Features

The same controller used to adjust the heated jacket’s temperature will also control our 12V heated gloves and heated glove liners.  To use the 12V heated gloves with the heated jacket liner, find the plug inside of the zippered pocket near the cuffs on the jacket.  Connect the coax cable from the heated jacket to the gloves and tuck any excess wire back into the sleeve of the jacket.

The 12V Heated Jacket Liner is also compatible with the 12V Heated Pant Liners using the same battery harness.  Simply purchase a Y adapter and connect both the heated jacket liner and heated pant liners into it.  The same is true if both you and a passenger are wearing heated gear.  See vehicle’s owners manual for power output information.

The total setup takes under 10 minutes to complete, but will keep you warm all year round.
