12V Heated Motorcycle Gear

Stay out on the road longer with heated gear.

Who ever said that cold temperatures marked the end of the motorcycle riding season apparently had never used 12V Heated Motorcycle Gear. VentureHeat is committed to extending the riding season long into the winter so that as long as you have traction, you are ready to ride.  12V Heated Motorcycle Gear from VentureHeat includes head to toe heated apparel to keep you warm no matter how cold the temperature falls.

Heated motorcycle gear not only enables you to ride longer during the cold weather, but also ride more comfortably and more safely.  By regulating your body temperature, you can focus your entire attention on the road ahead rather than having to deal with cold temperatures which can limit your mobility and control over the bike while out on a ride.

Each item in the 12V Heated Gear lineup includes a battery harness and built-in fuse.  After a quick set-up of connecting the harness to the terminals on the battery, you are ready to experience the luxury of having heated comfort during your ride.

VentureHeat offers a variety of products to keep you warm, from the Heated Motorcycle Jacket Liner,  12V Heated Vests, 12V Heated Pant Liners, Heated Motorcycle Boot Liners, as well as Heated Motorcycle Gloves and Glove Liners.

All of VentureHeat’s Heated 12V Gear can be connected together using only one battery harness.  They also feature multi-zone temperature controls for an even greater degree of customization.  For instance, let’s say you choose to wear a complete outfit of heated gear with a Heated Jacket Liner, Heated Gloves, Heated Pant Liners, and Heated Insoles. With the temperature controllers that come standard with both the Heated Jacket Liner and Heated Pant Liners, (as well as the Heated Vests), you can control the heat on your upper body with a separate setting than your lower body.

The Heated Jacket Liner features pre-wired connectors in a concealed zip-up pocket near the cuffs to quickly plug in the Heated Gloves.  The Heated Pant Liners have a similar feature for the Heated Insoles. Configuring your gear in this manner allows you to control the temperature for both your jacket and gloves with one controller while the other controller adjusts your pants and insoles.  You will find this highly beneficial when out on the road especially if your hands and chest are prone to getting colder than the rest of your body.

After getting off your motorcycle, the quick release coax connectors easily unhook so you will never have to worry about tipping your bike over in the event that you forget to unhook the cables before walking away.  The connectors on the clothing can quickly be hidden away in the discreet, zippered pockets.  This feature is highly desirable in situations where you are wearing your motorcycle gear after you get off the bike, like when stopping to get something eat or refueling.

The idea behind the design of the heated motorcycle gear is to maintain a neutral look.  The clothing is constructed to be thin enough to be worn under you usual motorcycle gear.  That way, you can still maintain the same style you desire with the added bonus of being able to wear heated gear underneath.

All of the Heated Motorcycle Gear uses hair-thin micro fibers in the heating elements.  Unlike other companies that use bulky cables and coils to heat the clothing, VentureHeat’s apparel is both coil-free and cable-free.  The Xtreme Comfort Technology (XCT) heating panels provide maximum warmth while maintaining their flexibility.  The heating panels move freely with the fabric of the clothing itself, so you will never notice any obtrusive or uncomfortable cables that many of the other heated clothing companies use.

Is FIR Heat Therapy Safe?

Heat therapy in general can be beneficial in providing relief from deep tissue and stiff muscle pains. For this reason, heat therapy is commonly used for rehabilitation purposes.  Heat therapy is also used to decrease joint stiffness, relieve muscle spasms, reduce inflammation, and improve blood flow which leads to more nutrients and oxygen reaching the affected area for faster healing times.

As you know, the forms in which heat therapy is available in are many, ranging from electric heating pads, microwaveable packs, hot water bottles, heated cloths, ultrasounds, saunas, chemically activated patches, and Far Infrared Ray (FIR) wraps to name only a few of the multitude of applications that heat therapy encompasses.

Many methods of heat therapy require heat to be placed directly on the skin of the affected area.  The problem with this method of therapy is that high temperatures are required to penetrate beneath the skin to relieve the pain below.  Because such high heat is needed to reach the ailing area, you must protect yourself against burning your skin.
Other heat therapy products that use electrical current to produce heat often come at the cost of generating high levels of electro magnetic fields (EMFs) which have been shown to be hazardous to the health.  Ultrasound waves can also damage soft tissues if used in extended amounts.

Infrared rays are beneficial in aiding the body in the recuperation process, in particularly Far Infrared Rays.  FIR is useful in heat therapy as it has the ability to transfer its energy deeper beneath the skin than direct contact methods do.

The Sun itself produces Infrared Rays which our bodies then absorb. Infrared Rays differ from Ultra Violet Rays (UV) which the Sun also produces.  Infrared Rays will never burn your skin or increase carcinogenic agents in the body.  A great feature of FIR is that the body will continually to absorb the rays and have positive reactions to it.

FIR has now been implemented into heat therapy wraps that are designed to fit a specific area on the body.  VentureHeat’s FIR Heat Therapy Wraps combine the positive wellness attributes associated with FIR and eliminate virtually all EMF’s by using safer and lower voltages to power the heat.

Most heat therapy devices in the market today use a high-voltage energy source between 100-120 Volts, which can be both dangerous and expensive. VentureHeat’s products are guaranteed safe because they use a low 12-Volt DC Voltage for the Plugin Series and a 7.4 Lithium Ion Battery for the Rechargeable series.

If you are looking for a safer, more effective method for treating your aches and pains, take a look at what VentureHeat has to offer in their heat therapy wraps and pads.

The included temperature controller lets you choose between 4 different heat settings to accommodate your own personal preferences.  This gives you the freedom to have heat on demand and to customize the appropriate level of heat to your individual desires.

As an added safety feature, a built-in timer will automatically shut the heat off after 30 minutes in case you accidentally leave the huggie buddy turned on when not in use.  To continue using the heated function, simply click the temperature controller for extended use.

Another highlight is the the detachable connector cable. When using the heat, you need to plug the cable into the wall, which makes the heated huggie buddy great for watching T.V., reading a book, sitting at the computer, or taking a nap.  However, if you would like to walk around the house with the heat turned off, you can unhook the connector cable so that you do not have to carry the wall adapter with you.  This feature is especially nice when making a quick trip to the fridge or moving about the house as you can keep the huggie buddy on without dragging the power cord behind you.

Heated Vests: Taking Vests to a Whole New Level

Heated Vests: Taking Vests to a Whole New Level

Outerwear vests have become a staple for cold weather climates.  As a fashion statement, vests never go out of style.  Having the ability to be worn as a standalone, or paired underneath another jacket, the options of a vest reach far and wide.

One obvious drawback of vests is that because of the lack of sleeves, extreme cold conditions are no match for a standard vest.

Heated vests, on the other hand, give you style choices you prefer matched with the warmth you demand. Heated vests use long-lasting lithium-ion batteries to power the hair-thin heating panels. These heating panels are strategically placed on your body to keep your core warm.  Keeping your core warm is key in warming your entire body.

Utilizing micro-fibers in the heating panels, the amount of bulky insulation found in traditional vests is greatly reduced.  Insulated vests are designed with the thought of trapping your body’s heat. The drawbacks of this method of warming your body outweigh the benefits. The amount of bulk used in a traditional insulated vest is much higher than that of a heated vest as heated vests have the luxury of actually producing heat rather than simply attempting to trap heat.  This added bulk also limits your mobility and detracts from your style.

Heated vests not only improve your body’s warmth, but also give you greater performance by being sleeker, and more form-fitting allowing you to move freely.

If you currently enjoy the adaptability of vests, imagine the possibilities of a heated vest.  With a temperature controller, you have the option to regulate the heat to your exact desire.  Power up the heat to the maximum setting on chilly mornings then set the levels to to the low setting as the sun comes up.  When you head in for lunch, switch off the heat completely.  That is what makes heated vests so convenient, is that you are not limited to a single heat setting and can choose to wear the vest on its own even without the heat powered on.

When you are ready for greater control, more styling options, and ultimate warmth, then you are ready for a heated vest.
